As our region prepares to welcome international visitors during World Cup activity, this 60-minute Cultural Readiness Workshop will equip local hospitality and frontline teams with practical tools to confidently serve a global audience.

Led by Tulu Kaifee of IPCOMM, the session focuses on protecting revenue, enhancing guest experience, and strengthening the reputation of Henry and Clayton Counties within the greater Atlanta region.

Participants will learn:

  • How cultural readiness protects revenue and supports long-term tourism growth
  • Key differences in communication styles, service expectations, tipping norms, and payment practices
  • How small service adjustments can create measurable impact on reviews, spending, and return visits
  • Practical response strategies for real-world hospitality scenarios
  • Operational considerations including dietary needs, accessibility expectations, and cultural sensitivities
  • A simple 5-Step Cultural Service Toolkit staff can immediately apply
