The Hattie McDaniel Legacy Experience at the Road To Tara Museum

This highly interactive exhibit highlights the career of Hattie McDaniel, the first African American to receive an Academy Award, and features exhibits on the African American actors in Gone With the Wind, highlighting their contributions to Hollywood and the entertainment industry outside of their roles in the film. It is the largest collection of its kind in the world. Open Monday – Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
