Saturday, Oct. 18 – Trans Am Takeover Car Show, Downtown Jonesboro
- Nearly 100 Trans Ams and replica movie cars, including a replica of the semi used in the movie
- Additional show cars, food trucks, and vendors
- Live music from members of Jerry Reed’s band, The Bandits, performing the original soundtrack
- Special appearances by original Smokey and the Bandit cast and crew members
- Smokey and the Bandit display at Arts Clayton Gallery, featuring memorabilia and details about the making of the movie.
- Behind-the-scenes stories and memories from local residents who were part of the original filming
